This policy covers ephix.gr and tech.ephix.gr. It explains what ePhix collects, why we process it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights available to you.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use our services, we collect contact and booking details, device and repair information, support history, business enquiries, AI chat messages, an anonymous chat-session identifier, selected language and the page where a chat started. Please do not submit passwords, payment-card data or other secrets in chat.
How we use data
We process data to answer requests, provide AI-assisted guidance, arrange and perform services, confirm appointments, prevent abuse, maintain security and improve service quality. The legal basis depends on the purpose and may include steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the services, or your consent where required.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies or browser storage support security, language, bookings, consent preferences and chat continuity. Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement remain disabled until you provide the corresponding optional consent. You can reject optional storage without losing core site access and reopen Cookie settings at any time.
Data retention
Anonymous AI chat sessions are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. Booking, repair, warranty, invoice and transaction records may be retained longer where needed to provide the service or meet legal and accounting obligations. Consent preferences are stored for up to six months before we ask again.
AI providers and other recipients
Chat prompts and recent conversation context are sent to our contracted AI infrastructure provider to generate a response. We also use hosting, database, email, analytics and payment or operational providers where necessary. Providers process data only for their defined service role. Some providers may process data outside the EEA under applicable transfer safeguards.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
Security and data minimisation
We limit collection to information needed for the stated purposes, apply access controls and encrypted transport, and do not sell personal data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
